Maps, Travel and Parking
Parking will be signposted during the event. Map below indicates locations approximately.
To reduce traffic in the centre of town, we ask that you consider the following
If you are arriving from the EAST (B4368), please park in The Green (on your left as you approach town).
If you are arriving from the SOUTH (A488) or WEST (B4368), please park in the Newcastle Road 'Farm Field' car park.
If you are arriving from the NORTH (A488), please park in the Memorial Hall & Field (entering Clun, take 1st left, up Newport St, keep left at the end: car park is on the left).
Please use designated Parking rather than parking in Clun's narrow roads!

Please note that due to erosion, the Buffalo Lane footpath entrance will be closed this year.
Two gates will be in operation: the Main 'Bowling Green' Gate (on the procession route), and the Footbridge near to Clun Bridge. At both these gates, guests wearing wristbands will be directed to bypass the queue.
On-the-day wristbands will be available to buy at both gates - queues likely.
Accessibility:
Some roads and paths are steep, and are not suitable for everyone. Here are some suggestions if you have limited mobility:
If you can manage steps, but would rather avoid hills and long walks, use the entrance by Clun Bridge. If you have a Disabled Parking Permit, there are a few spaces here that you are entitled to use (otherwise, use the car park on the Newcastle road)
If you are a wheelchair user, or for any reason need to avoid steps, use the Bowling Green Gate, to the North of The Square.
-There is space for pick up/drop off at the Bowling Green Gate. The most convenient Car Park from here is the Memorial Hall & Field.
Facilities:
Toilets are available near The Bridge, as well as portable toilets within within the Castle Grounds.
Toilets are also available at Clun Memorial Hall & Field Parking Area
