Programme 2022
This year's festival will include some changes, in order to minimise crowding, and reduce queueing.
Please read on to find out about locations, ticketing and more...
pre-ordering of wristbands is NOW CLOSED. Wristbands will be available on the day - click here for details.
No Sunday Event
In a change to previous years, we will not host events in The Square on Sunday.
This is because we want to avoid crowds gathering in confined spaces.
The sort of events that would usually take place during the Sunday
will be included in Monday's Craft Fair in the Castle Grounds.

11.00am Craft Fair opens in Clun Castle Field and Grounds
In a change to previous years, the battle between the Green Man and the Ice Queen will now take place within the Clun Castle grounds. This is because crowding around the Clun Bridge is considered unsafe, as numbers cannot be controlled. Instead, this year, we invite you to make your way onto the Castle Field from 11am: explore the stalls and attractions, and pick a good spot to watch, with no need for jostling for a good view!
12.00pm The Battle on The Battlements! (the arrival of the Green Man and the Ice Queen will be heralded by a musical fanfare, so you can't miss it!)
Music
- THE RONALDOS - (link)
Four piece acoustic action in a Cuban, Skiffle, Banjo, Ska, Pop type style.
The Ronaldos are an acoustic band with a difference, covering songs in their own unique style with an irreverence and energy that makes any event special and memorable.
- THE FLYING TOADS -
- TOBY HAY - (link)
Intricate and hypnotic folk inspired original acoustic guitar
- HARESS -
More attractions including:

Corbett Household: Local Re-Enactment group (swordplay demos and more)
Circus skills workshops
Children's entertainment including animal encounters, puppet shows, face painting and more
